Manthan is a digital platform developed by the Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India to promote collaboration at scale between industry and the scientific research and innovation ecosystem to help meet India’s national targets and United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This platform aims to empower various stakeholders to scale up the interactions with researchers/innovators and facilitate R&D/innovation, share challenges focused on emerging technologies, other scientific interventions, as well as those with a social impact.

Office of Principal Scientific Adviser is pleased to launch a competition to pick the minds of all Indians on “Role of Manthan in empowering women entrepreneurs and startups to scale up innovation for a larger social impact”.
The objective of this competition is to capture intriguing insights about how Manthan is making a difference in Scientific research and innovation ecosystem.
This competition is open to all Indian nationals registered with MyGov, age no bar.
Word Limit for the Idea:
• The idea should be within the 500* word limit.
• The idea should not exceed the word limit. This would lead to disqualification.
Last date for submission of the entries will be 30th April 2023.

हमारा देश काफी तेजी और उत्साह के साथ आगे बढ़ता जा रहा है, लेकिन इसे हम तभी बरकरार रख सकते है, जब हम लैंगिग असमानता को दूर कर पाए और महिलाओं के लिए भी पुरुषों के तरह समान शिक्षा, तरक्की और भुगतान सुनिश्चित कर सके।महिला सशक्तिकरण की जरुरत इसलिए पड़ी क्योंकि प्राचीन समय से भारत में लैंगिक असमानता थी और पुरुषप्रधान समाज था। महिलाओं को उनके अपने परिवार और समाज द्वार कई कारणों से दबाया गया तथा उनके साथ कई प्रकार की हिंसा हुई और परिवार और समाज में भेदभाव भी किया गया ऐसा केवल भारत में ही नहीं बल्कि दूसरे देशों में भी दिखाई पड़ता है।
Women empowerment is very necessary for India because both the gender are same and should walk shoulder to shoulder. Even though there are many women entrepreneurs in India but still we do need many more.

I would like to draw attention on smalll women entrepreneurs, we should encourage women and girls to do more semi-technical jobs, like electrician, carpentery, plumbing, mason, carpet selling.
If women would have access to our home and resolve our daily life issues then they automatically create entrepreneurs and we could build strong community which wouldn't have stick to one job.
As we see in our daily life, plumbing jobs resolve by men only, electrician job resolve bu men only, carpentery job resolve by men only.
Why not people come forward to create an atmosphere in which women do that men dominant work only because it required hard labour.
All road construction contractors are men.
All cement contractors are men.
Only when women resolve daily life issues we could create better society.
our neighbour countries doing like that.
Help those women entrepreneurs take India's culture to other countries.
Here an example of Smt Neeli Lohith wife of the Late Dr. Lohith G K, who was worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Raichur RIMS of Karnataka State. Sadly Dr. Lohith deceased while he was working as a Corona warrior. The worst thing is even though he was a corona warrior still Mrs Manjula not received a single rupee from the government.
Now she is working as a women entrepreneur, who is converting Indian soil into beautiful ornaments and selling these handmade jewels Abroad.
