The Fit India Movement was launched by the Hon'ble Prime Minister on 29 August 2019 with the vision of ‘Hum Fit Toh India Fit’ and the message ‘Fitness ki Dose, Aadha Ghanta Roz’, to make fitness an integral part of everyday life. Over the years, the Movement has expanded its public outreach through flagship campaigns such as National Sports Day, Fit India Carnival, and Sundays on Cycle.

The Fit India School Certification Program is an initiative under the Fit India Movement, launched with the objective of making physical fitness an essential and everyday part of school life rather than an occasional or event-based activity. The program derives its statutory basis from the Gazette Notification and Operational Guidelines of the revised Khelo India Scheme (KIS), which formally provides for a school-level fitness certification mechanism.

This concept note presents the proposed new design of the Fit India School Certification Programme and invites inputs and suggestions from schools, teachers, parents, education administrators, sports bodies, and other stakeholders. The Programme seeks to build a strong, continuing relationship between Fit India and schools by promoting fitness among students, teachers, and staff. It recognises schools that provide regular physical activity and sports opportunities and gives parents a transparent, reliable reference for making informed school choices.

The underlying policy premise is that the school is the first formal institution after home where fitness habits can be systematically taught, practiced, and reinforced in a child's life.

The Fit India School Certification Programme is a wonderful initiative to make fitness a natural part of students’ daily lives. Schools play an important role in shaping children’s habits, discipline and overall personality. Therefore, fitness should not be limited to annual sports events but should include regular activities such as yoga, cycling, running, outdoor games and simple exercises. The programme should also focus on healthy eating, proper sleep, hydration and nutrition awareness. Schools can organise fun fitness challenges and team activities so that students enjoy participating rather than seeing exercise as a compulsory task. Teachers and parents should also be involved because healthy habits become stronger when children receive encouragement at home. A simple, transparent and inclusive certification process can motivate schools to continuously improve their fitness facilities. This initiative can help create a healthier, more active and disciplined generation.

It is one of the greatest steps taken by the government. It reflects the vision of physical fit youth and the importance of healthy life. It can also show the importance of sports and through there could be more emphasis on a nutrition rich diet rather than a diet which is just sent to fill the stomach but fully lack the nutrients. School also serves as a significant place to learn all these things and helps to make a good discipline life that a child had to follow. At the school or the primary level children are more excited to learn more and in a very excited way which make it easier to do this and in a more effective manner. Students at this age are quite more excited for the competition and through this from the beginning it could tell them to be more vigilant, active, competitive and disciplined. So, this initiative is great and through knowledge should also be provided to the parents about the importance of the nutrients, sp and a healthy life for the child.

Fit India Movement Fitness is not merely about being physically strong; it is about living a healthy, active and balanced life. In a fast-changing world, where many people spend long hours sitting and using digital devices, fitness has become an important part of a healthy lifestyle. To promote this spirit, the Government of India launched the Fit India Movement on 29 August 2019, on the occasion of National Sports Day. The movement was launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi with the inspiring vision, “Hum Fit Toh India Fit.” The main objective of the Fit India Movement is to make fitness an integral part of everyday life. It encourages citizens to spend at least 30 minutes every day on physical activities. Walking, running, cycling, yoga, dancing and playing outdoor games are simple ways to remain active.

Migration - Urbanization to Ruralization to be order of the day and one of the top priorities. Primary education to be mostly handled and taken care by respective state govts and majority of secondary education to be under state govts and also by central govts. Academic education should be pursued especially by LIG and MIG groups with courses such as Telugu, sanskrit, arts, social work and sciences with computer knowledge in graduation and post graduation and they get jobs in villages and nearby towns to avoid urbanization, migration to cities and major cities and also abroad. This will amplify some technical jobs also locally and nearby. Professional hereditary occupations can happily be continued without opting for new jobs. This current younger and next generations better pursue the academic education as priority to lead simple happy life and can lead their life locally with better local employment opportunities and their family members can stay nearer to strengthen th

Proposal To Revive and promote Delhi Traditional kite flying festival by shifting the major celebration from 15th of August to 26th of January Republic Day. Respected Sir/Madam I would like to submit a suggestion concerning the traditional culture and heritage of Delhi. Kite flying has been one of the top festival since independence particularly on August 15th Delhi. However the increasingly high temperature and uncomfortable weather conditions prevailing in Delhi during august have, in my view, considerably reduced public participation in this traditional activity as a result, the charm and glory associated with kite flying celebrations is gradually disappearing. I respectfully suggest that govt consider shifting public kite flying festival in Delhi from 15th august to 26th of January when the weather is much better. I request the concern authorities to kindly examine this suggestion & Assign to the proper Ministry/Department. Your Faithfully Neeraj Madhok

Fitness par Essay Fitness Fitness hamare jeevan ka ek mahatvapurn hissa hai. Fitness ka arth keval sharirik roop se swasth rehna nahi, balki mansik roop se bhi swasth aur sakaratmak rehna hai. Achhi fitness se hamara sharir majboot aur rog-pratirodhak kshamata behtar hoti hai. Humein fit rehne ke liye rozana vyayam, yoga ya walking karni chahiye.

Current generations need to have basic insight into political economic scenario to keep apprised as Nation is first for all citizens regardless of ages, religions, caste, creed, community - state second, individual last. Following our swadharma is great service to our Nation that gives us everything say bread and butter. This is part of my swadharma with blessings of my/ our gurus to whom we bow our head in reverence and gratitude. Vande arsha guruparamparaam. Desabhakthi first, daiva bhakthi second both to go hand in hand as Nation is our mother and we need to be non complacent as a citizen. This article is purely intended not as find faulting motive but to annex-connect bharatheeya arsha dharmic life with dharma and gnana as primary objectives to socio economic life which are secondary in our Indian life, but these are only results of dharma and gnana pursued.
