Each and every Indian citizens faces one or other problems its difficult to satisfy all. As an Indian citizen I request my fellow bikers and motorists to abide traffic rules and safeguard the safety of our fellow travellers. The parking facility in the crowded area such as Edayar st, Raja st, Gandhipark and its adjacent areas can be tuned a better to ensure better traffic. The drivers of the public buses makes a halt in the center of the road for picking up passengers which creates a traffic jam.

As a Coimbatorean and since the city is growing at a rapid speed a metro would be an essential one for commuters working length and breadth of the city and the lakes around the city can be cleaned and the borders of the lakes can be converted into a strollers pavement. Coimbatore sometimes faces drinking water problems.

#Coimbatore has good hospitals. It should be converted to National hub for medical tourism. Medical SEZs with world class hospitals, pharma, medical equipment companies should be opened. A big tourism corridor with Nilgiris and many theme parks to be built. The city lacks trees. A massive tree planting program should be launched and monitored till the plants become trees. Ropeways from Siruvani to Malampulza, tunnels from Kovaipudur to Amrita University -such initiaitives will revive the city.

With availability of flat terrain in and around coimbatore, world class stadiums and sports facilities are to be built. Global and national events like IPL should be conducted here. There lakes in the city should be protected. Big parks with trees and plants should come around these lakes. The airport is to be expanded. There are large agricultural activities around the area. Big commodity warehouses and exchanges could be developed. Educational institutes with global partnership to be opened

Coimbatore has been a clean city. It has entrepreneurship in its blood. A manufacturing hub dominated by SMEs. It is also educational hub. Unfortunately, the city has not received any support from government. It is mostly self developed. There is a need to set up PSUs like HAL, BEL etc. An aerospace cluster can be set up. Central & state government should bring big ticket projects to Coimbatore. Availability of water could be a serious limiting factor for growth. Innovation needed here.
