As roads get worn out and are full of potholes within a year, the new roads must be laid of plastic i.e.,PLASTIC ROADS through which the road life substantially increases. Steps must be taken to improve the conditions of the ukkadam lake, which is mostly surrounded by waste. 'Traffic signals AND STREET LIGHTS' can be designed in such a way that it could be run by SOLAR ENERGY which will lead to its proper functioning. LED'S though a bit costly but saves upto 80% electricity should be encouraged.

Bharathi Park is one of the areas where the citizens' pleas for not installing Storm Water Drains (SWDs) is going unheard. In the name of development, the rampant digging done 2 years ago for SWDs is an eye sore for our city now.Lots of trees are cut to build this canal which is filled now with filth, garbage, plastics and used water from homes. The fear of dengue from mosquito bites has reached its peak.SWDs are not needed in a city where it rains hardly for 25 days.Instead,RWH should be installed.

The storm water drains laid in the city in residential areas should be covered with slabs, if left uncovered it leads to many diseases.

If signals aren't working traffic police should control the traffic.

Please alter the bus stand locations, as most of the bus stands are located either before or after the signal junction, thereby causing lot of traffic jam.
The buses stop in the middle of the roads away from the bus stands, causing public to get down in the middle of the road, there by causing inconvenience to two wheelers & four wheelers. Please ensure buses stop in their correct lanes.
Roads should be laid, the whole city is in bad condition with poor roads & potholes.
