LPG is a dominant cooking fuel of urban population and also, steadily penetrating in rural areas replacing other traditional sources of fuel which included fire wood, cow dung, coal, etc.
There are nearly 17 crore LPG consumers in the country with average refill of 35 lakh cylinders per day. The reach of LPG connections as well as providing timely services to the consumers has always kept in pace with the technological innovations. Provision of timely services and attending the grievances of the consumers continues to be critical for consumers’ satisfaction.
Available Web as well as Mobile phone based applications are extensively used to enable the new customers to get LPG connections and the existing customers to avail services. The Ministry has been taking all measures to leverage the Digital India initiative to make it more consumers friendly.
Presently, following citizen friendly services are being offered for the prospective and existing LPG consumers.
•Book Cylinder through IVRS -– allows consumer to book refill through their registered mobile number.
•Track Refill – It’s both Web and App based facility which shows consumer last 3 booking & delivery date
•Know Your Distributor –Web based facility provides distributor name, address, contact no , Sales officers name & email id
•Talk to Us – connects to call centre managed round the clock.
•Request for 2nd cylinder – allows consumer with single cylinder connection to request for additional cylinder.
•Mechanic Service – allows consumer to register request for mechanic service.
•Surrender connection – allows consumer to register request for surrendering connection.
•Rate your distributor – allows consumer to rate distributor on 5 service parameters, which enables the consumer to ascertain the quality of services provided by the distributor.
•Bank Detail – allows consumer to update Bank details for becoming Cash Transfer Complaint to avail the subsidy under ‘PaHal’ scheme.
•Opt out of Subsidy – provides option to ‘GiveItUp’ of LPG subsidy.
•Feedback Status – allows consumer to check status of any feedback submitted earlier
Ministry further wants to bring new innovations/improvement in services provided with an aim to enhance ‘quality’ of the services provided and transparency in transactions. Therefore, suggestions/creative inputs are solicited from the all the stakeholders on improving the services using communication platforms.
Hi This is regarding the LPG subsidy. During the registration we did not get the Aadhar card so registered without Aadhar card.It is linked with the bank account, that is what is was told in the bank and in the distributor end. So far for the past 1 year and 2 months i have not received the subsidy. I'm being sent to pillar to post. What should i do.
I have few idea starting from Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (initialed by Govt. Of India). My design are ready if Govt wants to implement it that will be good. under this people can contribute individually as well as collectively that will help Govt officials to make better plan for limited resources.
Make an independent panel for monitoring media... Like CAG wherein the panel would give public ratings for all media channels and news papers ....the ratings should be based on the way a particular matter is disclosed in an unbiased manner/ content of news/ authenticity etc .... Make it compulsory for all the channels/news paper to display their ratings .... Ratings should be revised on monthly/ quarterly basis ...
Utilise (trains/buses) for advertisement in form of posters to bring attention of various government policies made for citizens...
It is welcoming that India is providing visa on arrival and such services for other citizens. However, it is necessary to demand similar facilities for Indian citizens travelling to other countries. It is sad that Indians have to get a Schengen visa to travel to multiple European countries at the same time for instance!
Sir Bringing in the citizens of India under voter list is an important task, Election commission make the voter inclusion more easier, just like PAN card, the applicant should apply on a portal, and then send hard copy by post and in case they wish to get the cards back by courier they should pay charge and get it at their residence, this will bring in more simplicity as today lot of people do not want to visit Election commission office locally because of various factors known to all rgds Rajiv
Dear Sir Kindly make the LPG booking through online facility currently the delivery boys are charging Rs. 30 - Rs. 50 additional for delivering. If we raise complaint against them means next time on wards they are not delivering the cylinder on time. Kindly do anything for this. In single day a delivery boy earn more than 30 x 100 = Rs. 3000/- Per month nearly Rs. 1,00,000/- IT'S TRUE.
I think India should start providing LPG through pipelines instead of cylinders so that people dont have to worry about cylinders and only pay the bill. This is already present in some places like mumbai. By this way people will not have to worry about buying or applying for new connection and instead just have to pay bill.
on hoardings fees must be written and we must educate the people that the fees is very less and dnt give agents huge amount of money .If people gives so much to agents they think govt is not doing anything still we have to go through agents . i have an idea sir all post offices in villages or rural areas must be made passport centres with postoffices or the helpdesk or file submission or everything .people from small towns must not get harrassed sir plz do something in this regard
sir applying for passport is very easy now and anyone can make passport thefee is only around Rs 1526 per person but agents are still charging around Rs 5000 to Rs 10000 per passport. The people who dnt know internet what would they do????? The people from villages or uneducated people who wants to makes passport what would they do ??? sir for this i think at all passport centres there must be helpdesk for the people who dnt know what to do and very big boards or hoardings must be there.
