India Science (www.indiascience.in) is an Internet-based science Over-The-Top (OTT) TV channel. It is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India , implemented and managed by Vigyan Prasar (VP), an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology. This 24x7 video platform is dedicated to science and technology knowledge dissemination, with a strong commitment to spreading scientific awareness especially with Indian perspectives, ethos and cultural milieu. The initiative is supported by National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST.

Science and Technology are the main driving forces of the nation and fundamental to the progress and growth. But there is a distinct difference between “science” and “scientific”.

What do you think, is the difference and where do you think they relate with each other? How do the two words contribute to building and reinforcing scientific temper among the youth? Send us your views!

I certainly do not understand why are physicists fighting over quantum mechanics and general relativity. My learnt friends, they are each others completers not competers. One is modern and other is classic. Quantum mechanics tell us about what's going in the smallest distances and General relativity tells us about what is happening in the largest distances. Both are equally correct about the energy but still we need to combine science , not divide it.nRemember Sir Einstein founded both of them.
