Indian railways has lots of un-used / barren land on sides of railway tracks that mostly run in rural areas. Mostly railway pillars of 2 to 3 feet height are stood at distance of 10-20 meters away form railway track to claim that this area belong to Indian Railway. This barren land is only for safety purpose. This un-used area can leased out to private firms for setting up solar panel systems. By this un-used area can be used to earn income from unused area and also generating clean energy.
