Research work in India. has sadly been in the
Least perform ing zone as compared to Rest of the developed& developing countries. People with real ability must be identified to contribute significantly.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_libraries
Can I remind everyone that India has the largest published literature (both ancient and modern) but most of it is inaccessible because there is no centralized library for India? Can we create a library that is accessible to all Indians to further promote research both in the classical as well as modern literature? We need a knowledge revolution if we have to leap forward into cutting edge research on the world stage.

Projects in final year of colleges are a farce since they are copied work. Projects should get published by an international journal to get recognised for conferring of degrees.

When research equipments face repairs, they must have a deadline of time for the repair to get done. CSR can be redirected to maintenance of research labs.

Connect industry and education. Students who are able to improvise products for industries or invent products for industries must be given extra credits and recognition.

1. Research in basic sciences like physicys, chemistry and maths must be connected to Make in India. Research and industry will be linked and will yield results. 2. Submission of thesis papers and projects should be accepted by international journals to ensure it is not copied work 3. Lesser number of the theory or subjects in engineering courses and more number of creative product innovation must be stressed in engineering curriculum. 4. Reservations for SC/ST ALONE must continue, not BC/OBC
