Why not think of Rain harvesting building? I have seen one in Kodaikanal but I don't know how it works.. You could think of one. 2) SOLAR STREET LIGHTS AND TRAFFIC SIGNALS. Implement Solar cells everywhere possible like buildings, malls, hospitals, schools, colleges, etc. you shall then name Mangalore as "A SOLAR SMART CITY"

1) I feel, all the bus stops in Mangalore should have signage board which should include, bus stop names, buses arrival and routes. This can make a traveler a hassle free experience while travelling for the first time. 2) You can have a map of tourist spots or restaurants or road maps near bus stops or anywhere appropriate. 3) Cycling should be promoted in Mangalore. Atleast once in a month, we can have "Cycle day". 4) Garbage should be provided on the footpath.

First of all, I would like to thank our PM NaMo for selecting Mangaluru as a smart city project. Apart from all other basic needs, a separate lane for ambulance is a must. Whether smart city or not, separate lane for ambulance should be provided throughout the country.
