Its great pleasure sharing my views about a smart city!!
According to me city is half developed, if we change the mentality of being mean. As I have seen since my childhood the religious issues of Hubballi and Dharwad has made people forget the humanity! Smartness in city can spread only when we are changed not as a religious person but as a human. I also suggest the Government to consider all the suggestions who has uploaded, to build up the city into a King's paradise! #SmartCity

I want to add up my points for the plan..
1. Solarize the area for uninterrupted electricity.
2. Free use of internet WiFi accessible to all regarding businesses and education.
3. BRTS must be completed soon.
4. And the city must have best drainages in India...
Clean city is the healthy city.

Hubballi-Dharwad are certainly more than deserving & I thank all the esteemed persons who brought in the smart city concept here.
1. Good and Safe Roads 2. Footpaths and Cycle lanes to encourage healthy commutation 3. Clean city measures like increase in Public Lavatory facilities 4. Underground Electric cabling 5. Increase in Intra City Transportation Facility.
These seem to me as prime first stage aspects towards Smart City Development.

According to me every smart city should have a renewable energy source that provides for public transport and other transportation, factories etc. which are dependent on fossil fuels. By this way country grows independent of foreign nations.

1. Digitalizing Regional Transport Office system so that we can directly go for Test Drive.
2. Making existing Auto rickshaw system smarter by following application model, so that we can call auto rickshaws through application.
3. Smart sensor based Lights at Streets, Parks, gardens, playgrounds etc.
4. Smart Ticketing system for buses (I think BRTS, which is coming soon to come will have this).
5. Smart RFiD tag based Bus pass.

Hubli city is in real need of proper roads. If government is planning to provide good roads plz design roads in such a way that the roads are thick, bit above ground level and use good quality materials required for construction of roads. This will help to reduce dust which is major problem everyone facing in twin cities and also it reduces rain water collection on the roads. Plant more trees beside the roads..
