If Coimbatore has to be a Smart City
1)Public transport like Metro / Buses to be use for commutation by all right from workers to CEO's
2)Private vehicles should not be allowed inside the city limits.. They should be used only during holidays
3) Garbage should be kept at the respective residential premises. It should not be strewn in the public garbage. This holds good for hoteliers / street vendors etc., Any food wastage if found, strict action to be taken by the corporation'.

SmartCity means a forward looking city.
Good roads, connectvity, electricity & water should be available in all cities, it has nothing to do with smart city.
1. A nature friendly city with no pollution.
2. Use & encouragment for use of green energy.
3. Recycling centers for both solid & liquid waste.
4. Friendly roads for cyclists & walkers.
5. Friendy public facilities for diffrently able people.
6. Open governance, etc. & making sure that people participate in all these activities.

1. For all the newly implemented schemes please provide budget support for running expenses, maintenance and repair of equipment etc..
2. Please provide for staggered school, colleges and commercial establishments timings so as to distribute traffic volumes more evenly without creating peak-hour snarls and jams.
3.Add more man-power to corporation and all entities involved in local governance, so that the schemes do not suffer due to lack of staff.
