Not sure if this is feasible, city should discard the existing pincode and replace it will more localised version of pincode, wherein 1 pincode should refer to very specific area in the city.

As a smart city initiative, Government must look at the following in Bhubaneswar.
1. Traffic regulation - encroachment of roads should not be allowed by vehicles or temporary shops, traffic-chowks to be highly equipped to punish violators, speed control in specific routes (especially single roads without dividers)
2. Parking allotment - Parking zone must be declared for different areas (separately for 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler
3. Optical fiber facility or high broadband connection to each home.

BMC should prioritize to free Bhubaneswar from the menace of the stray dogs and cattle which not only endanger lives but also add to the filth on the roads. Sterlisation programs for the stray dogs have failed and it is high time that BMC should think of alternatives....if at all we think of making Bhubaneswar a Smart city.

Special focus should be on women security; special and time bound response in case of emergency. Only when women can move freely we can say anything is improving
