The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

It must be handelled by government authorities only as they'll do everything by taking the developement of individual and godwill of nation under consideration...rather then focusing only on profit generation..

If the private sectors are really thinking to contribute for the development of our motherland they must be welcomed with open heart.

Govt. should facilitate the human resource from different parts of country (especially regions with low per capita income) and training activities should be carried out by organizations which work in mining, earn from mining. These companies have experienced workers who can share practical skills easily with new trainees. The costs should be bared by private companies, this will be similar to business model of IT companies that train their employees before putting them on live projects.

7. We can have this started it in major city like MUMBAI or DELHI and take them to other cities as well by HAVING THE ROLE MODEL CITIES WITH IN INDIA. 8. I don’t want it to be a onetime task; it should be continuous habit like we eat three times a day and sleep once or twice a day.

5. Owners of the respected shopping mall or stores or shops should be taken care by themselves. If it is beyond their hand, they can call out the respected team to clean the particular place. 6. We can have people encouraging programs like ‘recognizing the best official or person who participated in SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN’ and rewarding them with some certificates.
