Share innovative ideas on sustainable EEE Products

Electrical and Electronic Equipment ( EEE ) and materials are one of the biggest challenges to sustainability. EEE are responsible for highly complex waste generation, energy-intensive manufacturing, usage and waste processing.

Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) observes Swachhata Pakhwada 2022 from 1st February 2022 to 15th February 2022 promoting ‘E-waste se Raksha- Swachhata hi Suraksha’. Citizens are invited to share their ideas on how EEE products and materials can be made more sustainable.

We value your suggestions which would be instrumental in encouraging efforts towards sustainable practices in Electrical and Electronic products and spreading the awareness about same.

The best entries from the citizens will be identified by the Ministry and will be featured on the MyGov page.

The last date to receive suggestions is 15th February 2022.

EEE products can be made more sustainable when people start realizing the importance of waste products. There are many such things in every house which can be recycled but people just throw way in order to buy the new one. If the product is recyclable, everyone should reuse it.

Establishment of stores where loose products are sold and you can bring your own containers to get as much as you want according to weight. Like a sabzi mandi but with other products as well.

Zero waste is a set of principles focused on waste prevention that encourages the redesign of resource life cycles so that all products are reused. The goal is for no trash to be sent to landfills, incinerators or the ocean. Currently, only 9% of plastic is actually recycled. In a zero waste system, material will be reused until the optimum level of consumption. Zero Waste: The conservation of all resources by means of responsible production, consumption, reuse and recovery of all products, packaging, and materials, without burning them, and without discharges to land, water or air that threaten the environment or human health.

श्रीमान नमस्कार दीपावली,शादी,पूजा,या जन्मदिन घर लाईट बल्बों से सजाते है चाइना की बहुत घटिया किस्म का,लोग अपने घरों मे 4/5 दिन लगाते है कई बार यूज़ होने से पहले खराब मिलती है उसे सीधा कूड़ेदान मे दूसरे कूड़े के ढेर में मिलने के कारण रीसाइक्लिंग करने मे मुश्किल,कई बार हो नही पाती, दीपावली मे करोडों लोग बल्ब वायर से इतना ई कचरा बनाकर हम अनपढ़ देश की मिसाल बनते है सरकार इसे गम्भीरता से ले और हमे भी आगे आकर इलेक्ट्रानिक कचरा ना बने समझाना होगा,घर के त्योहारों को फूलों से सजाकर भारत के पैसे बचाना,दुनिया के सामने मिसाल कायम करेंगे शपथ लेते है आज और

Create a smart dustbin having weight machine fixed at bottom of that dustbin-----> Open an App created for this purpose and scan barcode available on face of dustbin------>Based on weight of wastage, convert weight into points----->redeem points earned and utilize same against payment to business houses like Swiggy, Zomato,Ola, Uber etc.----->As Business houses are getting business from Govt, Govt can charge a nominal service charges from business houses.

With this idea, we can teach to world on how to make business even with a wastage”. It will take just 2 to 3 minutes read my proposal. Idea is to create smart dustbins across the country. Due to character limitation, I have attached a detailed plan for this proposal. Summary of my plan Create a smart dustbin having weight machine fixed at bottom of that dustbin-----> Open an App created for this purpose and scan barcode available on face of dustbin------>Based on weight of wastage, convert weight into points----->redeem points earned and utilize same against payment to business houses like Swiggy, Zomato,Ola, Uber etc.----->As Business houses are getting business from Govt, Govt can charge a nominal service charges from business houses.
