Share innovative ideas on sustainable EEE Products

Electrical and Electronic Equipment ( EEE ) and materials are one of the biggest challenges to sustainability. EEE are responsible for highly complex waste generation, energy-intensive manufacturing, usage and waste processing.

Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) observes Swachhata Pakhwada 2022 from 1st February 2022 to 15th February 2022 promoting ‘E-waste se Raksha- Swachhata hi Suraksha’. Citizens are invited to share their ideas on how EEE products and materials can be made more sustainable.

We value your suggestions which would be instrumental in encouraging efforts towards sustainable practices in Electrical and Electronic products and spreading the awareness about same.

The best entries from the citizens will be identified by the Ministry and will be featured on the MyGov page.

The last date to receive suggestions is 15th February 2022.

Name: Veeresh Place: Amalapuram State: Andhra Pradesh “With this idea, we can teach to world on how to make business even with a wastage”. It will take just 2 to 3 minutes read my proposal. Idea is to create smart dustbins across the country. Due to character limitation, I have attached a detailed plan for this proposal. Summary of my plan Create a smart dustbin having weight machine fixed at bottom of that dustbin-----> Open an App created for this purpose and scan barcode available on face of dustbin------>Based on weight of wastage, convert weight into points----->redeem points earned and utilize same against payment to business houses like Swiggy, Zomato,Ola, Uber etc.----->As Business houses are getting business from Govt, Govt can charge a nominal service charges from business houses. Important to create awareness on usage and proper disposal through programmes on EEE products. Collection centres should be set up on a large scale and this not only solve pollution but also create employment opportunities
