Most important theme in New National education policy. We require teaching professional rather than having simple teachers. please recruit Trained and Qualified professionals as teacher educators. 50% weightage to practice in the teacher education curriculum. One year or atleast six month internship programme to be added to the curriculum. Pupil teacher ratio to be strictly adhered to, it should be 1:10. There should be well equipped laboratories for language, science, mathematics etc.

As a KV student I can provide a better analysis of teachers to you.Teachers at KV are well-educated but they lack the willingness to teach properly. They are neither educating nor developing the Skills of students but just focus on,to finish their respective subject syllabus (that too without any quality teaching). They just focus on to complete the paperwork and force students to complete their notebooks;without checking whether student has done it by himself or just copied from a ((continued

I know our government make new education policy for better education & help poor student get education.
Our Government expands very high money pay to educate Indian child but not came better result.
Government school & teacher very poor condition, Government paid high salary to teacher & other staff but very low study stand to compare private.
Today government makes policy for private school to cancel certificate & create new policy for private school make many difficult rules.

Recruitment of the teacher in India should be uniform, then only we can expect uniform pattern of Education in India. There are so many entry in teaching profession and different pay and perk are being paid depend upon the State to State. This should be not there, then only we can think for some thing new in Education.

in our country, teacher called as shiksha mitra, para teacher, contact teacher, etc...
i think it is not good for teacher quality, should call only teacher.
teacher should have same salary in whole country, not as 7000, 12000, 14000.
it demotivated to the teachers and also affect the quality of teacher.
,it should give in-service training for new subject methodology as well as professional development in time to time or fixed interval.
in this way can develop quality of teachers.

teacher should have pedagogical and content knowledge and interest for teaching.
it should be the appointment on the basis of skill and knowledge of teaching not on the basis of subject matter knowledge. because who have more knowledge of subject will not be a good teacher. so the process of appointment should be changed.
those have basic skills of teaching with subject matter knowledge should be appointed.
in this way improve quality in education

Once a teacher, always a teacher. No scope for extraordinary teachers to rise fast.
No incentive/ encouragement to experiment and develop new ways to teach.
Solution- Actions by policy makers to make policies exactly opposite to problems cited.

Purpose- Enhance the quality of skilled population.
Tool- high quality, highly motivated teachers imparting high quality teaching throughout India.
Bottleneck- teaching is not a desirable profession.
There is no monitoring of output. Output is measured by no of students passed.
There is no challenge in teaching profession.
There is no motivation to succeed.
Serving in rural areas is seen as punishment
Govt schools have no facilities for teachers or students.
Contd..
