Conventional education alone cannot meet the needs and aspiration of higher education. What proactive policies and strategies need to be devised and developed to encourage online education and overcome any implementation issues which are currently hindering its optimization? Also how can we strengthen ODL systems so as to ensure their quality and gain greater acceptability?

AMIE INSTITUTIONS OF ENGINEERS INDIA, should be recognized by MHRD. This type of courses helping Diploma holder and working people who want to enhance their qualification. AMIE is the only way for working professionals to pass their degree engineering, and it is really very tough. Normally for a Diploma Holder, it takes 4 to 7 years to complete AMIE. It must deserves approval from MHRD or AICTE. It’s a humble request to PM to kindly look into the matter.

Dear PM / HRD Minister I would intend to bring to your kind attention that MCA done through IGNOU is much better as compared to regular MCA in universities and colleges. The students passed through these are more or less not accepted by educational institutions. WHY? officially they do say they do that say this but indirectly they do so. Why this double game on one hand distance education is promoted on other hand they are not recognized.

Dear sir some deemed University offering technical education through distance mode not recognized by AICTE. All such University should be punished severely. they are wasting time and money of students. AICTE should also rethink for recognizing technical education by ODL mode. It will benefit poor and working employee to get higher knowledge and qualification.

we, students can understand that AMIE is very hard and tough to pass compared to regular courses. If you are going to remove the recognition, you should have to inform to public that no one should not get admission in AMIE due to this reason. But still we hope that our beloved PM and education minister will honor our request and situation and expect your timely action. Regards Aneesh Adiyottil

Dear Prime Minister and HRD Minister of India, I have been appearing AMIE exam since 2010 and expect to complete in Winter 2015. At the stage, it is very hard to hear this news that MHRD is going to remove the recognition to AMIE. thousand of students with me have passed or will pass this course. Then if this course is not valid at all, it will of course be big loss to us. So we expect that our beloved PM can solve this issue with re recognize this course as a blessing to us. Thanks Aneesh
