Start Date :

Conventional education alone cannot meet the needs and aspiration of higher education. What proactive policies and strategies need to be devised and developed to encourage online ...
Govt should give recognition to online degree programmes and remove territorial restriction curbs for distance education. When entire world is accepting online degree programmes why can't we do it. Govt should also let people study from any recognised university across India through distance education. That way every one will have oppurtunity to choose and study in the best colleges and universities in the country.
Govt can start any open and distance learning program. No problem. It can create more graduates. At the same time government has the responsibility to assure quality. This is the place where we fail bitterly. So introduce national eligibility test (NET) for every subject irrespective of arts, science, engg or anything. Those who clear it must be allowed to appear for any state PSC and UPSC exam. Then the total quality of indian education will improve 10000 times. No other go.
all central universities or supported by central government should record each and every lecture, class notes assignments etc and put on their website. This will help student to learn in far flung areas.
AMIE graduate are much much better than these mushroom engineering colleges . Where admission are based on money capacity . where as AMIE is cleared on putting hard labor and efforts. These poor children are genius and have indepth knowledge of their field. Therefore AMIE should not be derecognized but given support so that it could become an examplary Institute in the whole world.
Suggestions regarding architecture of an MOOC-based open school & open university system. See attached PDF
ODL and AMIETE,AMIE COURSES shoul be promoted because the middle class family cannot afford the fees implemented by the private institutes under recog by AICTE.. These type of courses gives the student an alternative option by which it can proves it ability and at same time skill development of the particular student can be known..
nyDear Sir, ODL is a best way to get knowledge and to gain more skill. because many peoples who are from lower or middle class family and working employee in Govt and private sector could not pursue regular study, but they want to gain more knowledge through ONLINE And DISTANCE Mode. So Govt. should promote ODL and Online Distance and Part-time course for all discipline like Science,IT,Computers,Engg. etc. so that working / employees and needed person could do there course.
ODL for profesion is common thing in India. Apart from that a variety of ODL courses both short and long term can be started which gives sufficient indepth knowledge for any Research (Technical or Mnagement) to carry out. These sufficient ODL courses can be made to be considered as a course work for the Phd registration. There by the candidate can perform the dessertation work after his completion of ODL courses related to research, Thereby reduced burden on the research scholars.
Dear Sir,Please remove restrictions on Simultaneous enrollment of courses in Distance Education which passed by UPA Government in Jul - 2012. Simultaneous admission on two or more Courses in Regular mode create confusion and Problem. But Distance mode if any body pursue any number of courses no problem will create. If one can eligible and capable, he can pursue. So, I humbly requesting you, Kindly remove restrictions on pursuing courses in Only Distance Education.
Post 2:
My below post was from another group discussion.
I think we already have something going on as 'eGyankosh' in this regard.
We should make it better by involving more universities and encouraging them to share their educational content here.
