Conventional education alone cannot meet the needs and aspiration of higher education. What proactive policies and strategies need to be devised and developed to encourage online education and overcome any implementation issues which are currently hindering its optimization? Also how can we strengthen ODL systems so as to ensure their quality and gain greater acceptability?

AMIE has been recognised by govt from last 94 years, hence many people in past took decision of joining AmIE instead of any private clg just because its recognised. Isn't it govt's fault who instead of improving AMIE trying to withdraw its recognition ? IEI's syllabus is harder than any other Universities's and also the question paper pattern and strict checking process. People study day n night and manage to do it. Govt should recognise it and enlighten futures of talented students

A lot of industries do not consider degree/diploma from Open university/distance learning valid. Certain arrangements have to be done in order to get these certifications the recognition that full time courses have. Why not there be a centralized exam of all distance learning courses like JEE or UPSC. A simple pattern as per convenience of the aspirants of these courses can be formulated. Thus it will even gain recognition and also reduce malpractice in exams.

Please support us to get AMIE as equivalent degree to Bachelor of Engineering. Since for an indian who could not able to study the BE / B.Tech due to family circumstances, the only one hope available is AMIE. You can find any AMIE holder would be more / equal competence / caliber too. We expect Modi Government will do support us to get MHRD Recognition.
