Conventional education alone cannot meet the needs and aspiration of higher education. What proactive policies and strategies need to be devised and developed to encourage online education and overcome any implementation issues which are currently hindering its optimization? Also how can we strengthen ODL systems so as to ensure their quality and gain greater acceptability?

Why are we hung up with brick and mortar educational establishments building IITs in every state. Instead why can't we pick best of best IIT professors record sessions on each subject and post it online. Every student of every college can benefit using these supplements to improve quality of education. After all, Eklavya was greater warrior than Arjuna despite being underprivileged. America is headed in this path, can India emulate & change student lives?

Collaborate with major online initiatives like Courseera, Khan Academy and MITEedx. Perhaps host their courses and make them optional to garner attention from masses and increase the attractiveness of such courses.

Education Institutions like AMIE have been providing education through Distance Mode since a long time. Course content of AMIE is so in depth and wide that it covers all the technical scope in any discipline in line with any regular Bachelors degree of the corresponding Discipline. Moreover, the way the system is designed and exams are conducted make sure that the individuals who clear this system are very creamed and equipped with excellent technical abilities.

We have been technologically lagging behind many nations for decades because of various reasons including poverty. Therefore, institutions of the past should not be neglected because of new educational policies.

It is give the student to build the knowledge in the area he is working and to grow him in his organisation. Why MHRD want to withdraw the recognition of AMIE/Distance mode courses?Education with job in dedicated field will develop the candidate, organisation and our country to fulfill make in India.

I m requesting MHRD to auyhorize AMIE for future, bcz it has no any disadvantage,It has advantages only.1},As we are going through MAKE IN INDIA we will requires qualified engineers,AMIE is helping for this.2},Education should not be limited in classrooms...AMIE doing this very well.3},About syllabus-AMIE single subject contains 3-4 subjects of AICTE degree, then also students are scoring good means they have better understanding of this subjects.4},AMIE is good for financial week students. plz agree.

I also request to MHRD to go through the syllabus of AMIE n then decide. It's an opportunity to entrants those who're not able to attend full time college due to lack of time and financial support. I would like to suggest that while selecting candidates an aptitude test can be done to gauge the knowledge. After studying AMIE a person will have equal knowledge who have completed Degree in regular full time college.

I would request the MHRD to refer the syllabus of AMIE section A & B with regular Engineering degree syllabus. An AMIE student has to study the subject thoroughly to clear the subject in one attempt, whereas regular engineering student has to study the same subject divided in to many semester and part of the subject is need to be prepared. Apart from this regular degree student is getting Internal marks adding to his total marks whereas an AMIE graduate scores from what he learnt.
