Mainly automatic traffic system should be used in every road. Traffic rules should be very strict..i.e. no one dare to break it..no over track by left side, parking at no parking area. There should be CCTV on road at a regular distance. Underground parking place and multilevel parking space should be constructed at the busy area. Public transport should be better. No artificial flood. Above all our Guwahati must be remain neat and clean

Our city suffers from huge traffic congestion during evening hours. One of the reason is due to road side parkings which leave only half of our roads for plying of vehicles. I would like to suggest that the premises of city schools be used as parking premises after 4pm till 10pm, because huge plots of the government as well as private schools are left unused after 4pm as the school activities are over by then. This will reduce the cost of building any new multipurpose parking buildings.
