Jammu city is first of all not completely ODF,condition worst than even rural areas. Houses in old city (hilly and slopy area)without septic tanks need to be connected to STP at the earliest to handle faecal waste being thrown in drains. Drains remain overflowing with all garbage and faeces. Door to door Waste collection in such area should be top priority.

We need to focus on in term of tourism and how to sustain our culture for the future generation also. Smart city is not only to develop the city in term of technology .. trade.... and other factors. we need to focus on to measure is on the basis of social return on investment. so that we are also create values for the community.Right now we are not able to sustain our culture due to Glocalisation. But we need more and more focus on our social, enconomical and environmental factor also.

Jammu has a huge potential of becoming silicon valley of north. It has proper resources required for cyber revolution in the region. Infrastructure development for making Jammu a cyber hub can be wroked out. Apart from that there is urgency to make transport system efficient, which gets worse due to darbar move and tourist flow in summers especailly.

Sir , Good Morning, have a nice and good beginning of the day ! We should give more priority to our Defence personnel who will be on Duty to serve the nation at times of natural calamities, cyclone.. We do have to sanction the basic amenities as quick as possible to them, as soon as they demand and no compromise has to be done , so our cities remain smart !

currently biggest problem in jammu is of traffic.and it is going to get worse by the exponential increase number of passenger cars ..enforce the law more stringently to ensure smooth. In Manali (HP) there are narrow interior roads and there is a huge burst of traffic in summer BUT there are hardly any jams because of proper implimentaion of law .even driver from outside follow the traffic rules very seriously.so the habit of irresponsible driving in jammu has to be changed by harder punishment

Smart city doesnt only mean that the city needs to be smart. It should be the people living there who should be made aware of so that the city could become smart in real sense. There are n numbers of problems today like traffic, parking, unemployment, garbage, dust, pollution, lesser plant cover, poor industry, weaker service sector, weak infrastructure, poor land planning, good for nothing footpaths etc.The related authority should also look into the matter seriously to cope up with the problems.
