The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens across India to share their constructive suggestions and innovative ideas through the initiative "Have an Idea? Share it with ICAI".

This initiative provides a platform for citizens, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders to contribute their valuable ideas for strengthening the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Chartered Accountancy profession, and India's financial and economic ecosystem.

Participants are encouraged to submit their suggestions on areas such as strengthening the Chartered Accountancy profession, promoting economic development, enhancing transparency and good governance, leveraging technology and innovation, improving financial literacy, supporting entrepreneurship, and contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

The objective of this initiative is to encourage meaningful public participation and harness diverse perspectives to help build a stronger, more transparent, innovative, and future-ready Chartered Accountancy profession while contributing to an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable financial ecosystem for the nation.

CA-Setu 2047: Making Professional Financial Guidance Accessible to Every Entrepreneur To achieve Viksit Bharat @2047, India needs financially strong MSMEs, startups, rural entrepreneurs and small businesses. I propose CA-Setu 2047, an AI-powered digital platform by ICAI to provide accessible, multilingual financial guidance and connect citizens with trusted Chartered Accountants. The platform could offer AI-assisted support on GST, taxation, bookkeeping, budgeting, cash-flow management, credit readiness, government schemes, startup finance and fraud awareness, while clearly distinguishing AI guidance from professional CA advice. An Ask a CA facility could connect users with ICAI members for matters requiring human expertise. Special modules could support women entrepreneurs, rural businesses, students and micro enterprises. Anonymized insights could help ICAI identify common compliance challenges and improve financial education and policy recommendations.

People working in foreign countries are not completely aware of both countries taxation. Not all the CAs are aware of these taxation too. Please learn them and guide and help your clients. Educated working people itself not aware, then think about less educated ones. Also, combine your studies which can help your clients to manage their finances, write wills, nominations, etc.

I believe Chartered Accountants can play a much bigger role in making India a developed nation by 2047. My idea is to make financial literacy and basic tax awareness more accessible to students, small businesses and people in rural areas. ICAI can encourage CA students and professionals to conduct simple awareness sessions in schools, colleges and villages. At the same time, technology and AI can be used to make accounting, taxation and compliance easier for small businesses. This will help people understand their finances, avoid mistakes and become more confident in starting and growing businesses. I feel that when financial knowledge reaches ordinary people, CAs can contribute not only to businesses but also to the overall economic growth of India.

I suggest that ICAI create a “Financial Safety Score” system that works like a simple health check for financial habits. Instead of focusing only on income, it would evaluate budgeting, saving, emergency planning, responsible borrowing, digital payment safety and awareness of financial fraud. Users could answer a few simple questions and receive a score along with personalized suggestions for improvement. The platform could be available in multiple Indian languages and designed especially for students, first-time earners, families and small entrepreneurs. ICAI experts could provide verified financial education, while technology could make it simple and interactive. This initiative would encourage people to improve their financial habits before facing financial difficulties and help build a financially aware, secure and resilient India .
