This initiative provides a platform for citizens, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders to contribute their valuable ideas for strengthening the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Chartered Accountancy profession, and India's financial and economic ecosystem.

Hello Team,
I wanted to share a thought that may differ from others. Every year, I pay a significant amount in income tax as a corporate employee, yet when I visit my hometown in Jharkhand, I see little improvement in basic infrastructure or public services. It makes me wonder how effectively our tax money is being utilized.
What if taxpayers could allocate a portion of their income tax to approved local development projects? A transparent committee could oversee initiatives like building roads, cleaning rivers and public spaces, improving sanitation, and other essential infrastructure. The allocated amount could be adjusted against the income tax we already pay.
This could increase transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in local development. If you think this is a worthwhile idea, I'd love to hear your thoughts. If you agree, please give it a like!

Idea: About a lamp with exastur in it
I was thinking of a lamp which has a exastur behind it which will solve the problem to place a lamp and a exastur in a room at two different places so we can use a led lamp and attach it with a simple and small exastur fan which will help to circulate Air in the room and will utilise a small quantity of space

Topic: Solving the Problem of Corruption in India
Corruption has been one of the biggest challenges to India's growth because it weakens public trust, slows development, and creates inequality. However, India is steadily moving towards a more transparent and accountable system through digital governance, online public services, digital payments, e-procurement, and AI-powered monitoring. These technologies reduce human interference and make financial transactions more traceable, leaving less room for fraud and bribery. At the same time, strict laws, ethical leadership, and financial accountability play a vital role in preventing corruption. Chartered Accountants also contribute by ensuring accurate financial reporting, conducting transparent audits, and promoting integrity in both the public and private sectors. A corruption-free India cannot be built by the government alone—it requires responsible citizens, honest professionals, and strong institutions working together.

The model uses existing structures and does not require new physical infrastructure or legislative amendment.
The study also proposes a three-channel settlement structure to ensure inclusion across producer groups. Payment may be routed directly to a producer’s bank account, credited to a PACS account through the cooperative banking chain, or settled through the society pool for producers without formal banking access. In each case, the same validated procurement record triggers payment, keeping the framework inclusive without requiring universal digitisation beforehand.

ICAI may advocate with the Central and State Governments for dedicated CA Chambers, similar to lawyers' chambers, and concessional land allotment for Indian CA firms on the lines of hospitals and other public institutions. This would provide affordable office infrastructure, particularly for newly qualified CAs and small firms, promoting entrepreneurship, employment, and better access to professional services for businesses and MSMEs. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has emphasized building large, globally competitive Indian accounting firms. Affordable infrastructure would enable Indian firms to expand, attract talent, collaborate, and compete with global networks. ICAI may also establish integrated CA hubs with shared meeting rooms, libraries, training facilities, co-working spaces, and digital infrastructure, strengthening the profession and supporting ease of doing business.

The Intelligent Adaptive Examination Operations System (IAEOS) is a secure, AI-assisted, cloud-enabled examination platform designed to eliminate question paper leaks, ensure fairness,
generate unique examination papers for every candidate, and enable rapid evaluation. This system generates a unique but equivalent examination paper for every examinee in real time from a pre-validated national question bank. An alternative operating mode can also be supported where all candidates beginning the exam within the same authorized time window receive the same centrally generated paper, if the examination authority prefers identical papers for operational or psychometric reasons.
