The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens across India to share their constructive suggestions and innovative ideas through the initiative "Have an Idea? Share it with ICAI".

This initiative provides a platform for citizens, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders to contribute their valuable ideas for strengthening the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Chartered Accountancy profession, and India's financial and economic ecosystem.

Participants are encouraged to submit their suggestions on areas such as strengthening the Chartered Accountancy profession, promoting economic development, enhancing transparency and good governance, leveraging technology and innovation, improving financial literacy, supporting entrepreneurship, and contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

The objective of this initiative is to encourage meaningful public participation and harness diverse perspectives to help build a stronger, more transparent, innovative, and future-ready Chartered Accountancy profession while contributing to an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable financial ecosystem for the nation.

We can achieve sustainable development in India by providing assured social security to all the poor and middle class of India. The Government of India has a scheme called "National Social Assistance Scheme" through which the government provides many benefits like old age pension and widow pension and ration cards for food to the poor, and also provides financial assistance to build houses for them. But due to many reasons, people not get the benefits properly. For improvement, government should build big "Asharams" every 5 km all over India where 1000 people can live safely in each ashram, and where they can get free shelter, food, clothing and medicine. This should be for all the poor and middle class helpless old people, women and children of India. The government can utilize this huge human resource for many developmental works like improving the education sector, land survey, population survey, maintaining law and order etc. Through this, we can achieve sustainable development.

ICAI does not give any exemption to ICSI and ICMAI passed out students in subjects and exemption in training if the student have work experience. ICAI can think of providing exemptions in subjects and training.

Institute institute must have the welfare fund they welfare facilities to the member of the institute also the retirement plan for the lifetime membership and old this will not only me then strong financially also they will be a lot of fund with institute for the betterment of the institute and the members the annual seminars conferences publication as well as improvement and innovations will be more helpful if there are members are the member of the welfare fund some Navy members will be able to get benefit for the medical expenses over the retirement of the death claim

I strongly suggest that the government focus on improving our roads across the country, starting with the basics—properly built and well-maintained roads. A significant amount of attention and funding should be directed toward repairing damaged roads, improving construction quality, and ensuring that roads are maintained regularly rather than only being repaired after they become severely damaged. If we compare many Indian roads with well-maintained roads internationally, the difference in quality, cleanliness, maintenance, and infrastructure is clearly visible. We should aim to build roads that we can proudly compare with global standards. Please make better roads, regular maintenance, proper drainage, and cleanliness a priority across India. Development should start from the infrastructure people use every single day.

"From Financial Statements to a National Balance Sheet: India’s Wealth Beyond GDP" A company’s financial statements show its assets, liabilities and position. Could a similar principle help us understand India’s national wealth? For Viksit Bharat@2047, I propose a complementary National Balance Sheet covering: • Financial Capital – productive assets. • Natural Capital – forests, water, biodiversity, land and ecosystems. • Human Capital – education, health, skills and productivity. It would complement GDP, not replace it. GDP measures economic activity, while this framework could show whether the assets supporting growth are strengthening or being depleted. Building on India’s Natural Capital Accounting and SEEA work, India could develop a transparent dashboard of these capitals. The goal is to measure how strong, sustainable and future-ready India’s wealth becomes.
