The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens across India to share their constructive suggestions and innovative ideas through the initiative "Have an Idea? Share it with ICAI".
This initiative provides a platform for citizens, professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders to contribute their valuable ideas for strengthening the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the Chartered Accountancy profession, and India's financial and economic ecosystem.
Participants are encouraged to submit their suggestions on areas such as strengthening the Chartered Accountancy profession, promoting economic development, enhancing transparency and good governance, leveraging technology and innovation, improving financial literacy, supporting entrepreneurship, and contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
The objective of this initiative is to encourage meaningful public participation and harness diverse perspectives to help build a stronger, more transparent, innovative, and future-ready Chartered Accountancy profession while contributing to an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable financial ecosystem for the nation.

“ICAI 360° — India's Financial Trust & Growth Infrastructure”
The concept:
Build a digital ecosystem through which ICAI helps Indian enterprises move from compliance to financial trust, resilience and growth.
It could have four interconnected components:
1. Financial Health Score
Measures the enterprise's financial and governance health.
2. CA Digital Intelligence Platform
Provides CAs with authoritative AI-enabled research and analytical tools.
3. Fraud & Risk Intelligence Network
Aggregates anonymized professional insights to identify emerging financial risks.
4. MSME Growth Programme
Uses CAs to help smaller enterprises improve financial management and resilience.
That creates a much bigger narrative:

I propose that icai launch a nationwide "financially smart india" initiative to build financial awareness among the youth of India. Financial literacy should be introduced from the school level to develop responsible citizen from an early age.
The programme should educate students about taxation,savings, budgeting, investment, digital payment and financial fraud prevention. Chartered accountants may act as financial mentors, conducting practical awareness programmes in school colleges and communities. Special programmes should be conducted in rural and economically weaker areas to promote financial inclusion. ICAI may develop a simple certification such as "Financially Smart citizen" for students completing the programme.
A financially educated generation will create better entrepreneurship, responsible taxpayer and strong economic decisions makers.

As a ca student i would suggest that icai launch a program similar to the corporate sectore which can provide alternative career opportunities and support to students who are repeatedly unable to clear their exams this would help such students secure their future and make better use of their skills

CA Beyond the Classroom -- Developing Chartered Accountants with Perspective, Judgement and Impact
As a CA student, I believe the future of our profession depends not only on technical excellence, but on our ability to think independently, understand businesses, interact with diverse minds and provide judgement that creates real value.
I propose “CA Beyond the Classroom” -- an experiential platform that takes students beyond textbooks and beyond the CA ecosystem through four pillars: Explore, Connect, Solve and Experience.
From understanding the diverse career paths within the profession, to interacting with entrepreneurs and students from other disciplines, solving real-world business problems and gaining industry, social and entrepreneurial exposure -- the objective is to develop perspective alongside knowledge.
Because exposure creates perspective, perspective strengthens judgement, and judgement is what makes a professional valuable.

As a ca foundation student I think make CA course duration less because the world is changing to fast so my request is to allow student to give their intermediate exam just after 4 month of foundation exam reduce the duration and after intermediate make 3 month of training for student for learning ca work and then 9 month of articleship with salary based on knowledge and skills then after this give time of 6 month to student learning for CA finals and it make CA course of 2.5 years and which good and add AI skills during training

ICAI could launch a "CA for Every Citizen" digital platform that converts complex financial, tax and compliance information into simple, regional-language guidance. Users could enter their basic situation- student, salaried employee, small business owner, freelancer or senior citizen- and receive personalized checklists, deadlines, calculators and verified ICAI educational content. A secure "Ask a CA" section could answer common questions through scheduled webinars and moderated Q&A sessions by ICAI members. The platform could also include financial fraud awareness, GST/income-tax alerts and short practical courses. This initiative would make professional financial knowledge accessible to ordinary citizens nationwide while strengthening ICAI's role in public financial literacy.

AS A CA INTERMEDIATE STUDENT ,I want to say that , i come from a place where you won't find a big corporate office or a formal icai centre right around the corner places like tehsil ramnagar distruct udhampur jammu and kashmir.SIR, honestly speaking there is no counselling availabe for students , which is why most people here don't even know what a chartered accountant actually does . but i believe talent is everywhere . if we can bring financial awareness and guidance to small towns like ours,so many young students from here can also contribute to india's economic furure.in big cities kids know from a very young age exactly how to become a CA .But here, due to lack of awareness, bright students lose out.CA is such a unique course -it requires the lowest investment but offers the highest returns in terms of respect and career growth.so, i request ICAI to please bring financial counselling and awareness yo these untouched regions .like ramnagar to build a stronger'viksit bharat'.
