Remove the constraints for opening schools. This will create demand for teachers, which in turn will increase the wages and attract better teachers.

Looking current scenario, we have to introduce value addition (Ethics, Culture, etc.) classes. And for that teacher should have those values. If teacher would have good values(qualities), it would transform to students also.

Ms Smritishould avoid running behind Mr. Rahul rather than concentrate on faculties in india. it is very important job that leads to governance, development, skill magt, art of fighting war, etc etc. Give them all the benefits like a soldier ie Pension from govt., free interest loan, a house, free axcess to all the libraries, & very important those who have worked for more than 10 years in any field ie jobs in private sector, public sector and wants to engage in teaching should be promoted. Teacher certification courses should have some validity attached to the certificate. Otherwise a teacher continuous to work without enhancing his skills till he/she retires. If they do not upgrade themselves how can we assume that they can teach the modern skills with outdated knowledge. The private and public schools should emphasize on teacher skill development workshops. The private teachers need to be payed at par with the govt teachers and there should be a ban on tuition classes

This topic seems ridiculous to me since there many states who do not have enough teacher training colleges where as some have certificate mills. I do not understand if B Ed is just a certificate requirement to obtain a teachers job or else it has any quality into it. Education is a big industry and private schools and colleges make money. There is no benefit either to the students or teachers. There is no limit/vigilance on how much money the schools or private tutors can make..all black money
