Parking vehicles on roads causes much inconvenience for commuters and corporation officials in using, maintaining and cleaning roads. Strict instructions to be issued to leave the phone numbers of the vehicle owners/drivers on the dash board of the parked vehicles. Otherwise the vehicles to be removed and kept at the custody of the corporation which will also help the corporation to augment its revenue.

Chennai classified congested and non-congested roads for levying usage charges electronically on vehicles. All roads should be monitored through camera via WiFi. This will enable to generate FIR automatically by monitoring agency. This will enable to catch the offenders and collect the fine. Fine amount collected on every individual by referring the Adhaar Card number. This will enable to enhance the fine for repeated offenses as well as punishment. Online payment should alone be encouraged

Change the wrong procedure being followed in maintaining manhole covers in roads covering the drainage, rain harvest tunnels etc.If any cover got damaged, the new cover is laid over and above the existing road level. If the new road is laid, the existing manhole cover goes under the level of new road and these awkward and dangerous conditions remain for a long time. The Corporation officials seems to be not aware of the dangers of these situations and they should have scientific approach.

Chennai Corporation Website to address Public Greviances is a commendable work towards Smart City , but it needs to me made more smart by making the complainant close the complaint as now it is a common practice that the complaint is closed without being performed and you have to reregister . First thing to do is USER registration and it should be more citizen Centric . Second initiative would be Subsidies for CCTV cameras for colonies , with the help of Welfare associations

Whenever the road is cut across for laying or maintaining drinking water lines, drainage lines and electricity lines to the houses, the tunnels or holes are not properly covered to the level of the road. Always this lead to a invisible potholes or tunnels across the road which pose great dangers to those who are driving two wheeler and causes much damage to the other vehilcles. After completing the work, the filled up soil to be watered to make it hard and immediately covered with solid material

Thank you for this opportunity. Several infarstructures of the city have all become ineffective due to supply not catching up with demand. Following need attention: 1)No accountability of govt officials of every dept, lack of planning and coordination among departments. 2)Officers and councillors of ZOnes to be more proactive. 3)Define parameters like ZERO defects for performance and check quality of service for own departemnts and contractors. 4)create awarenesthrolocalpublic 1)
