With reference to the suggestions called upon towards smart city I would like to suggest installation of solar panels on every new constructions, both commercial as well as residential as a qualifying norm for serving construction approvals. The same can be applicable for the old constructions too. This will enable availability of free power for usage and the heavy load of HESCOM can be lightened which is getting difficult to manage due to poor rainfall.

1. Smart city development should not be at an expense of non-eco friendly activities.
Unneccessary cutting of trees should be avoided. Belgaum is well known for its climate. Hence if there are any cutting of trees for enlargement of roads, same no of new plants must be planted in the city.
2. The condition of Central Bus Stand & railway station needs to be improved.
3. More ATMs need to be placed in the city. Most of the ATMs in the city dont posses cash most of the time(Goaves & Hindwadi)
