SMART PUBLIC TRANSPORT HAS TO TO INTRODUCED LIKE E RIKSHAW/ELECTRIC TRAMP LIKE IN CALCUTTA AT LOW TARIFF,BUSSES RUN ON BIO FUEL .FREQUENCY OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT VEHICLES SHOULD BE INCREASED SO THAT PUBLIC REDUCE THE USE OF PRIVATE OWN VEHICLES.BY DOING THIS WE CAN CONSERVE OIL AN SAVE ENVIRONMENT.E BIKE BATTERIES SHOULD BE GIVEN 50% SUBSIDY FROM GOVT SO THAT IT WILL BE AFFORDABLE TO COMMAN MAN.

HI ACCORDING TO ME FOR A SMART CITY IT IS THE RAIL NETWORK. BELGAVI SHOULD BE WELL CONNECTED BY TRAIN TO THE METROS. THERE SHOULD ME MORE NUMBER OF TRAINS BETWEEN BELGAUM-MUMBAI,BELGAUM-BANGALORE,NEW TRAIN ROUTES BETWEEN BELGAUM-HUBLI-KOLHAPUR,NEW TRAIN ROUTES TOWARD HYDERBAD.THE NUMBER OF PASSENGER TRAINS SHOULD ALSO BE INCREASE, DOUBLE LINE OF ALL THE ABOVE SAID TRAIN ROUTES. TRAIN IS THE MAIN SOURCE OF THE COMMON MAN.

With reference to few post's of fellow Belgaumites and in continuation to my previous post, providing flyover to every crossing would not be viable solution. We should divert major railway traffic through new railway station out of city premises. Then existing line needs to be upgraded over all the roads (like metro) for local use. This will ease the traffic load in the city and give better connectivity in the city.
