The Ministry of Food Processing Industries started a 15days Social Media Campaign named ‘Main Hoon Aatmanirbhar Naari’ through which the valuable contribution of women in the food processing sector was acknowledged. Women of our country plays an important role in expanding the Food Processing Sector, and through this campaign, the success stories of women in Food Processing Industries from PAN India were circulated. The campaign also aimed to engage and tap a larger audience and to generate awareness about the schemes and their benefits provided by the Schemes of the Ministry.

On 16th December 2021, we commemorated the Golden Jubilee of the Indo-Pak Liberation War of 1971. Since then, India and Bangladesh have shared a special relationship and have deep-rooted cultural and socio-economic ties. Let’s take a look back at some of the milestones achieved in this relationship:

On the occasion of “Rashtriya Poshan Maah” in the month of September 2021 “Poshan 2.0 Quiz” was organized by NCERT,in collaboration with Ministry of Education and MyGov to spread information and awareness regarding food, nutrition, healthy eating practices, balanced diet and importance of handwashing etc which strives to reduce the level of under-nutrition, low birth weight in children and anemia in adolescent girls, pregnant women, lactating mothers as well as children.

On the occasion of the one-year completion of the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme, the Ministry of Food Processing Industries in collaboration with MyGov organised an online real-time quiz contest on the PMFME Scheme. The quiz contest started on 29th June 2021 and ended on 12th September 2021.

With the theme “Draw Your Favourite Freedom Hero”, children of age 7-15 years were encouraged to know more about India’s freedom fighters as they drew their favourite freedom hero, and at the same time explore their creative instinct.

As the country celebrates “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” marking the 75th year of India’s Independence in a grand manner at the national level, MyGov and Ministry of Culture invited people from all walks of life to design a logo to mark the momentous occasion. The “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” began its official journey on March 12, 2021, marking the beginning of a 75-week countdown to the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence. In the last 74 years, the country has made significant progress in many areas including but not limited to agriculture, economy, health, infrastructure, education and social reforms. Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, has also expressed his vision to build an AatmaNirbhar Bharat by the year 2022.

Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, mooted by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, 2015, celebrates India’s rich cultural diversity through mutual interaction and reciprocity between people of different States and UTs. To promote the cultural connect, a palpable need of diminishing the existing language barriers was felt.

The India Innovation Challenge Design Contest (IICDC), one of India’s premier innovation platforms for engineering students to create, innovate, aspire and contribute to make a difference to India’s success towards becoming an Innovation Hub. The recently concluded IICDC Conclave, 2019 edition was notable for a number of reasons.
