My overall suggestion is, whatever our government will do they should make long term plan rather than just a 5-10years short term. Till yet, our government is making just a short term plan to develop our country in any sector but after some time when that idea is not successful and created problem to our population and environment, then we think about the next idea. But that time has now come to change our thinking make our own plan rather than just a copy of any other country failed plan.

Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is planning to use Ganga as a way of cargo ships. I'm supporting this initiative but I'm worry about the pollution created by those diesel engine of those ships. It would become bane for Ganga rather than boon. So, our government should think about it early and use some other source of energy such as solar energy. Solar panel can be planted over the all upper surface area of ships. We can also use some other source of energy but not only diesel engine.

Firstly we have to make a different damp for the visitors for bathing. Because people come to varanasi and take a bath in ganga and also drop all flower, puja's material and asthiya there. If we want to stop this kind of thing then we must have to build a big damp of ganga so that people will go there and take a bath. even they can do asthiya visarjan there. so it will help a lot to keep ganga clean. because lakh of people everyday bath there. It is very hard to clean ganga but we can clean damp

Hovercroft (with latest technology, electrically operated?)is the best solution. This mode of transportation is new for our people. This will inhance the tourism. Exsisting infrastructure ( Ghats, etc) is sufficient to start the waterways immediately. Government should invite 100% FDI for this purpose.

Main purpose of tourism is revenue to state and livelihood to unemployed. Both can be accomplished in harmony with nature by doing so: 1) Train unemployed youth in English/Hindi, Educate them thoroughly about the mythological as well as historical importance. Let Govt provide end to end service to tourist through this trained youth. ....
