Ministry of Road Transport & Highways is going to set up user-friendly Wayside Amenities on National Highways for providing comfort and safety to National Highway travellers.
The Wayside amenities would have facilities like-
• Parking (separately for cars, buses & trucks)
• Restaurant/food court for providing quality food
• Low cost Dhaba
• Telephone booth / wi-fi
• ATM
• Fuel station
• Minor repair shop
• Rest rooms for short stay
• Toilets for ladies and gents
• Kiosks for sale of sundry items
• Medical aid and chemist shop
• Helipad facilities
Ministry of Road Transport & Highways invites entries from the public for suggesting - Logo for the proposed Wayside Amenities.
Last date for submission is 31st January, 2015.
Selected entry will be awarded cash prize of Rs.25,000/-.

As the brand name is Wayside amenities i have tilted alphabet A as an arrow towards left as a sign which can always b used to show direction to hotels and other facilities and alphabet Y i have used tri colour to show smiling india if u see itbit will look like smiling face

Below is the jpg image of my entry for the logo competition.
-The tyre indicates journey or travel
-The spoon/fork, phone and petrol pump handle is indicative of the amenities provided. Their colours blue,red and green indicate peace/calm atmosphere, emergency support and cleanliness(green environment) respectively.
-Stripes of orange and green indicate that the brand is national.
-The logo is fresh,attractive and easy to remember. It will help develop brand recall.
