“Setu Bharatam” is an ambitious program to ensure Railway Crossing less National Highways by 2019. In order to ensure safe and smooth flow of traffic, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has envisaged a plan for replacement of all the Level Crossings on National Highways by ROBs/ RUBs and replacement/ widening/ strengthening of weak and narrow bridges under” Setu Bharatam”.

Under this program, a total number of 208 Level Crossings have been identified for replacement by constructing ROBs in time bound manner. In addition, approximately 1500 bridges shall also be improved by replacement/widening/ strengthening in a phased manner.

Ministry of Road Transport & Highways invites entries from the public for suggesting Logo for “Setu Bharatam”

Last date for submission of entries: 31st May, 2016.

Selected entry will be awarded cash prize of Rs. 25000/- (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand only)

Name : Mohan.V Email Id : mohanv301@hotmail.com phone no : 9786959386 This logo is for the seth bharatam project, which aim to make all national highways free of railway crossings. In this logo you can see that train is crossing the road freely over the road. In this logo there are 9 stars(at the bottom of the logo)-indicate that the project will be work effectively from 2019 and there are 2 rows of 8 star(in the train)-indicate 208 Railway Over Bridges. #NationalHighways, #SetBharatam

SETU BHARATAM programmes aims make all national highways free of railway crossing .And it is good steps for save the life . SO This logo's aims is "SAVE THE LIFE "

This design is based on 'Ramsetu' which is mentioned in Ramayan. If you took arial view of ramsetu it looks like white line between orange & green colour as shown in design. in short design is a graphical form of ramsetu. design by : ghongde@gmail.com
