मेरे हिसाब से मुख्य समस्या है. १. पूजन सामग्री जो पूजा के बाद नदियों में बहाई जाती है उसके साथ साथ जो पोलीथीन भी बहाई जाती है उस पर रोक लगनी चाहिए।

(it include both illegal + legal (home/factory area)) STEP 2) How inform to every factory , business to use the toxic purifiers. STEP 3) In this many buss.. of Gov. power people/ relatives/ approached (how strickly inplemented on them too.) STEP 4) In buss../factory person is not too big or on large scale to afford the purifiers.. STEP 5) It will effect to our "MAID.. READ THE FILE .

10 Major Challenges of Maa Ganga Attached

गंगा नदी जो भारतीय संस्कृति की पहचान हैं। गंगा नदी को साफ एवं स्वच्छ बनाने के लिए सरकार को सख्त कदम उठाने होंगे। जैसे नदी के आसपास बनी हुई फैक्ट्री और गंदे पानी के नालों पर रोक आदि । (Ganga river which are the hallmarks of hindustani culture. Ganga river clean and clean government to take strong steps. Remains near the river at the factory and stop dirty water drains etc.)

a) Increase river flow : Dam/barrage should not divert more that 60% water. b) Urbanisation : Use drainage pipes mainly for rain/overflowing water. For human waste use septic tanks which will flow to drainage pipe only if tanks gets filled up of, still solid waste will settle down. c) Collect (Water) Pollution cess and transfer responsibility of installing treatment to Govt department.

major challenges facing the Ganga that need improvement are:- 1 corruption 2 awareness create among not to bath with soaps , and washing clothes in the river bank 3 industries even of strict govt rules they put the drain out waste directly into river .Need here is to proper implementartion of rules and proper check on the governing agencies.

According to me 10 major challenges are:1.uninterrupted flow of sewage municipal as well as industrial 2.passive role of pollution control boards 3.use of river as a resource without sense of responsibility 4.success of project measured on expense not on ground reality 5.passive role of flood control offices 6.focus on law not its implementation 7.non-implementation of river linkage to ensure even flow 8.uncontrolled construction on river bank 9.no plan for river-centric tourism10.illegal mining

The main problem is asthi visarjan into ganga river. In Hindu religion we believe that after death ganga visarjan is compulsory. People need to understand and open minded on this issue. Alternatively one place shall be dedicated for such activities and it should separated from main river.
