ten major challenges 1.polythene bags and pet bottles(not only do they pollute but also cause a threat to the animal life) 2.dumping of religious offerings and flower garlands. 3.drainage and municipality bodies pumping untreated water 4. industrial and pharma wates 5.housing on the river banks 6.unlicensed boats and floaterboats 7.immersion of idols made from P.O.P cement 8.loss of aquatic life as interference of humans along the banks 9.no proper dump bins 10.improper safety policiess

Government should come forward with a new formula which is never tried before Government should launch an IPO for the GANGA THIS SOLVES EVERY PROBLEM ASSOCIATED TO CLEAN GANGA.LIKE FINANCE MONEY WILL BE RAISED BY THE IPO UNITE PEOPLE FOR THE PURPOSE PEOPLE WILL SEE THE LOVE OF PEOPLE ALL AROUND THE NATION WHEN THE IPO WILL SUBSCRIBE 100 TIMES THIS PLATE FORM WILL GIVE EVERY GANGA LOVER THE CHANCE TO PLAY HIS PART AND THE POWER TO QUESTION AND KNOW WHAT IS THE PROGRESS.

polythene bags are the very dangeorus polutant so govt stop the production of polyethen bags. govt promotes the use of cloth bags.2.industry are not process the industrial wastage before the water leaving it in the river.3}, the dranage water of the city beside the river bank are merged in to the river.so the that4}, the pepole use the soaps,shampoo & ditergent so we form an agency or an organistion which are situated at the ghat which instruct the pepole to stop theuse of this type of material.

1- Throwing of dead bodies 2- Garbage control 3- No Authority 4- Pollution control 5- Look how other countries protect their holy rivers 6- Proper heavy fines for industries which throw industrial wastes in country 7- Bad quality of water 8- Deforestation 9- Strict rules 10- Sign boards stating "DO NOT THROW GARBAGE

1. Untreated municipal waste from cities. 2. Litter from the hutments on the banks of the river 3. Untreated waste from Factories situated on the banks of river. 4.The religious practices need to be regulated. 5. Ghats on river to be properly constructed 6. A Central Authority to undertake the execution of schemes as States delay the same for which law to be made. 7. Seminar be held to prioritise the issues. 8. Increase flow of water in river by regulating dams. 9. Penalties for non adherence.

We at CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad developed a modular high rate bio-digester for safe disposal of garbage. I would like to install a digester of capacity 1 ton/day near river ganga.
