The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

The meaning of logo is to show the evolution and enlightment of new age digital media for india.
Iconography - The Petals are made up of Indian Tricolor and are moving towards the digital image with the glowing flame towards top
Typography - The Digital and India font carries the essence of modern yet contemporary / indian touch to it.

This logo comprises of all the major sectors of Today's Digital world namely , Latest Technology,High Speed Internet and Wi-Fi , Security Surveillance , Social Site Services, Navigation,E-business etc.
