The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

My first submission for Digital India
The Ashoka Chakra being used in the background with the tricolor imprinted represents India, with 3 flying birds alongside, that signify freshness and the ability to fly and achieve dreams.
Digital in Blue signifies Internet and Global Information that is being used Intelligently to solve issues.
Overall the logo signifies a new rising in the Digital Sector by India.
Thus, 'A New Rising'
