The logo (DI) is done creatively which signify on demand delivery of ground-breaking initiatives which empower the citizens. It signifies Information & Knowledge exchange, Digital Infrastructure & E-governance unified together. The colour palette is derived from colours of Indian Flag. The logo design is elegant, stylish, innovative, original and citizen oriented to match ground-braking initiatives from DeitY.

The essence in Digital India should be that everyone has a stake in and stands to gain from participation in the digital ecosystem. ICT representing both information and communication technologies has the potential to bring about a transformative developmental (social or economic) impact in the lives of everyone- it is this potential that needs to be harnessed.

My second submission for Digital India, and my personal favorite. The Icon consists of 'di' in cursive handwriting, also it is made up of a Peacock feather shape and the Ashoka Chakra, two of the prime components that defines and represents India worldwide. The Icon is made up of the Tricolor and represents Purity of Information, Being used for the Growth and Knowledge of the people. Thus Punchline - "Purity of Knowledge and Growth"
