I shall take part in organizing a drive for cleaning our locality under the Amala Bharatam program of Mata Amritanandamayi Math. We are a part of the institutions promoted by the Math. I and my friend pick up trash on our evening walk around the campus and put them into litter bins provided. I will try to generate more awareness among residents to desist from littering.

Every house in our locality shall segregate waste into bio degradable and non bio degradable--in green and red baskets respectively. If segregation is done in the sourcing itself, it takes out manual scavenging. We can bury kitchen waste in landfills along with some cow dung and sprinkle

Well I can't say I am succeeded in this but I have educated my colony & street people and controlled them to some extent in throwing garbage waste and doing their daily activities in an open space. After I left the colony people have started again the same works. Strange citizens, tough to change them. There is so much support from law to them as they say they are SC, ST''s and minoriites. FIR will also be filed it seems if we try to educate them. Strange 1st this concept and law should removed

my request to the government is to place waste bin in all localities and give awareness to the people to dump the wastes in the waste bins. nowadays people use road sides to dump the waste. by giving awareness about this we can assure 90% clean India through this process
