Mostly in India such drives r just a Mediabuzz with no followup/encouragement by concern agencies /authorities. I will bring with me pics / literature of local bodies, how in silicon valley of USA hygiene services r kept /maintained without any disruption all over- bussiast to remote area. We Indian r to too please to follow the rules here & started to love to live in clean /environment friendly surroundings . whether public or private place ,schools ,hospital, marketplaces, parking lots

Initiative like these are really good to know but the main problem is people don't participate every time,they feel laziness or we can say they try to avoid these initiatives.They say its a Govt.s responsibilities or MCDs but I believe we all need to work for our street,mohalla,roads cleanliness.We should work like its a responsibility not a burden. Otherwise I don't think these initiatives are going to work.

I have started cleaning the public garden daily after morning work-out. Shakha people do their exercise in the vicinity. I hope they will join me on their own without prompting. I will involve kids in the evening.

I would like to participate in the Cleanup of my locality myself as authorities have done nothing to clean them up. There are pigs all around,People openly defecate in the open...and this is the heart of the city. Also my housing society has become the dumping ground of all. I want to clean the same.

We are often organising general cleanliness at our locality at the time of marriage ceremony or occasions like sarswati puja etc. In general cleaning is restricted to house and its premises. But now every member of our society decided to extend such cleaning up to the area divided on mutual understanding. Now the area of responsibility is little more than house, it covers merely 10 feet extra but due to every one effort it become a drive. This drive is on since last Durga puja.

We are doing and already did such kind of activity in our KRISHNAGURU sewashram located in bandhwari gurgaon haryana. Also, we are initiating a program to clean that village and tried to teach them how much it is important from health and other prospective.

We are planning to put a proposal name as "Shramdaan" in front of all the manufacturing owners near to our company. under which we will make a road map stating how and till when we will and can clean the whole area without any local body support.

I believe that only claning of our city,town,village is not an issue of swachh bharat.after claning our society,our area,our village what we do is we place that wastage at some other place out of our society or out of city.instad of that we have to establish some waste mangement plants which cleaning our india in a right way so if gov. take any intiavative step then i m always in with the government.so please take some action about waste management.
