West Bengal government has started Kanyashree Prakalpa scheme which gives incentives to unmarried girls of poor families aged between 13-18 so that they can continue their studies without being forced to marriage. It also assures a one time grant of Rs.25000 to unmarried girls who have attained 18 years and this scheme has helped a lot in controlling child marriage to a large extent as only unmarried girls can avail this scheme.

Create a system of Reward and Punishment. Reward for the girls who passed class8, class10 and so on. Punishment for those people who do not let their girl child to study. Withdraw all the government facility (cancellation of BPL card). Give every girl who passed class8, some monitory support and other unique facility like increase ration food amount, cycles etc. If any girl gets graduate from a village, give some special facility to whole village. It will increase social value of girl child.
