As of 2011, with an estimated population of 1.21 billion, India is the world's second most populous country after the People's Republic of China. (http://www.censusindia.gov.in & http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_states_and_union_territories_of_India_by_population.) The latest population figures are based on data from the 2011 census of India. I found out following cities (in PDF) as per population density (in JPG) relevant for project. Please sort top 50 cities from the list in PDF:

For solid west management we should look to Japan / Australia like country how they develop the technique to manage such solid west on Land it self. Through microbial process we should achieve degradation power of solid west and recycle the west as possible as we can. this will create JOBs as well as awareness in the society.

Invite village/town mohalla communities during execution and operation of pilot testing and let them give feedback and solutions for their own area.Mentally they would be ready for second round of execution in non pilot areas.Pilot testing should include participation and responsibilities of citizen as well and not seen as government agenda only.Mohalla community should be integral part of this project.Any derived benefits(energy) should go to participating mohalla first.

Pilot Testing of Solid/waste water management to be implemented in all offices and hospitals. 1. Each employee should be motivated to keep his room/division clean. 2. Please allocate a separate place to drop all solid waste in large bins with label of the waste to be dropped will save time/cost for segregation of solid waste. 3. Invent long lasting and easy to handle cleaning equipment for any employee to use when necessary. 4. Implement recycling the waste water to water their garden.

Cities Govt can choose, but have a factory on all the cities and solid waste to product conversion industry needs to be built. Solid waste collection people should be educated, they should wear nice dress glaves and should be visible to common people. When they have new attractive dress and working as cleaner all around the city with sophisticated systems, things would change. Always, for the success, people should feel and see "cleaning has social status".

The most efficient way of keeping cities clean will be to develop better ways of solid waste collection and disposal. In order to collect solid waste appropriate size of metallic waste containers should be placed in public places. Smaller trash cans should be placed out side every shop. This should be the responsibility of the owner but waste collection should be done with public and or private partnership. The collected waste should be properly disposed. The best way is to incinerate.
