STOP all govt aid to that area which is blamed to be involved in polluting Ganga. It means no electricity, no water, no road work absolutely nothing for that area. Give wide publicity of the Govt's punishment plan to the citizens well in advance. 3. If polluting source can not be ruled out by any means ask the local authority to establish STP at the cost of their own fund and maintain it out of their city development fund. 1. First of all map route of the Ganga through Satellite image and trace out the points where Ganga is being polluted severely. 2. Check out the source of polluting feeders to Ganga and make the Head of that Area (Village head, Corporator, ward member even MLA of that particular are responsible and allow them a strict time frame to stop polluting Ganga. 1.Map flow of the ganga through satellite for identifying pollutant. 2.Stop Ganga water to go in city through canal .If required filter it before joining main stream. 3.Awareness among people at pilgrimage center in festival time. 4.Circulate Ganga water to drought prone area of marathwada where drinking water comes once in 3 days for 2 hours. 5.Remove all industries along river side. 6.Impose fine on state for polluting water. 7.Remove illegal construction from river side. 8.Plant trees
