•The foundation of the water food web is microscopic plankton. Zooplankton feed on phytoplankton (converting energy using carbon from water & sun) and is, in turns, eaten by fish and other animals. These planktons can consumes all organic matter available in water. More organic matter in water leads to more plankton & therefore more fish. In this manner the water used to remains clean. By our chemical activity we have killed the microscopic plankton and therefore our Ganga & other water bodies.

Parallel drainage system can be created along the banks of Ganga where it is flowing thru densely populated cities. That sewerage can be treated at some small towns and that cleaned water can be used to recharge ground water/ ganga itself.

Part 3/3 The general public should also be notified by clearly written notice and banners for the use of provide dustbin and give a helping hand in cleanliness. Supervising team will always be there to take charge when any individual spoils the place. The area will be covered under CCTV inspection, so the supervisors are also to be penalized if they fail to do their duty.

Part 1/3 It’s a thing to take proud where our Prime Minister has taken an initiative to have clean Ganga. Though as I believe the following actions are necessary to fulfill this: There are industries which are the main reason behind the pollution of water. It is necessary to take strict steps to stop them. The river fronts where water is accessible directly by the general public must be provided with dustbins and also a cleaning/supervising team who make sure that cleanliness stays maintained.
