6. No disposal of sewerage in Ganga before proper treatment. 7 pilgrim education program should be launched on a massive scale quoting from scriptures. 8. I I Ts to be roped in to study and suggest ways for cremation of bodies and disposal of ashes in environment friendly manner 9. Enlist support of volunteers to help pilgrims as well as administration in maintenance of ghats.

1. A responsive local administration needed to manage the area near ghats.2. Local body on the lines of shrine board for managing ghats should be formed with clear cut responsibilities and budget. 3. Comprehensive planning to manage cleanliness, traffic,crowds. Proper toilet facilities and removing of stray animals and beggars. 4. Establish separate shelter for poor people. 5. Strict restriction on use of soap or washing of clothes. Facility to change and wash clothes can be established.

1.strict check on river pollution 2.Implementation of river inter-linkage 3.active role of pollution/flood control bodies 4.River-centric tourism 5.no construction within prescribed vicinity of the rivers 6.huge penalty/punishment for polluting rivers 7.water treatment plant for cities to be in CSR activity 8.plantation on river banks as social mission as well as CSR activity 9.Dolphin aquariums at select centres linked to Ganga 10.promotion to fishery and related activities on the bank of river

2. Install CCTV cameras at all Ghats and connect the same to Giant TV screens. Let the Public see the pollution all are causing and feel responsible for MOTHER GANGA. Educating people is the 1st step. 3. At All Ghats there should be a large TV playing educational videos showing the importance of cleanliness and the FINES for individuals dumping waste. 3. Involve waste management companies to convert waste to energy.

1. Set up water quality monitoring stations every 25 or 50 KM starting from origin upto the end. Each station to upload the water quality each day. This will help locate the location and intensity of pollution along the stretch. This will also help to identify industries, events causing pollution. 2. Industries disposing waste / effluents should be publickly NAMED, SHAMED & FINED

1. Centralized effluent treatment plant to be established in all major industrial cities on the bank of river. All industrial effluent after intial treatment should be directed to these CETPs & recycled water to be utilized in agriculture or industries 2. Similar seawage plants to be established in all cities & after treatment water to be diverted into ganga these sewage plants can be a source of biogas . 3. Ban polythene 4.CSR funds to be directed to ghats beautification & maintenance

1. Monitor the full ganga river by cc tv to avoid the throwing and mixing of industrial waste in GANGA. 2. Announce rule with big punishment for the people who is misusing the ganga river. 3.Ban the burning of dead bodies near any river and at the same time establish a dead body burning place which may be by wood or electric. The cost for this burning process must be free for all indian. This cost you can create a charity fund many people are ready to give fund for this good and holy job

1.Strict ban on plastic not on paper but in real 2.Promote disposable items as Mud-Purva,Leaf-Dona etc 3.High Penalty on use of plastic and soap in Ganga 4.Managed Control on Dams 5 Review of effort of each district in this regard and awarding them 6 Efficient Sewage System 7 Coordination between tradition,commerce and religion. 8 Maintenance of Biological & Ecological system of rivers 9 Awareness 10 Continuous,Regular, tranparent Audit by International and Independent Bodies
