Government should introduce a bottle bill for beverage containers products, at least in metro cities.Bottle bills shift the costs of litter cleanup, recycling, and waste disposal from government and taxpayers to producers and consumers of beverage containers. More info available on http://www.bottlebill.org/about/whatis.htm

My suggestion is for building structures such as government offices, public hospitals, specifically in Urban areas. We observe that the indoor air quality is poor esp stench from toilets. Globally it is found that no amount of napthalene balls, air freshners and other cleaning practices are sufficient to remove the stench. It is recommended that to remove the odour causing free radicals, it be treated with ozone producing UV lamp products. Such products are easily available and made in India.

Global best practices: 1. Shut down railway ministry. (None of the best global railways are run by ministeries, they are run by professionals) Divide it into three parts: i.) Tracks and signal (Managed by professional PSU) ii.) Travel & catering (allowing pvt. parties implementation similar to airline industry) iii.)Railway terminals (upgradation through PPP)
