Namaskaram Modi Ji, Noise pollution is becoming an increasing problem in even rural areas in India. Mostly due to unnecessary usage of horns. This is in stark contrast to Western countries where it's considered rude to use the horn. It has also been shown to raise blood pressure and contribute to heart attacks which are becoming common in even under 50s in India. To counteract this problem, please could you consider introducing a legislation mandating noise sensors in vehicles that record noise levels generated by Indian vehicles along with permissible limits (e.g. exceed 85db only 5 times in a year)? Like air bags which save lives directly, this could save lives indirectly. The records should be checked yearly as part of a roadworthiness cert.
