Respected Sir, I am a student of Class 7. I am writing this to express my thoughts on “Entry Ticket Price” being charged at Tourist Places. Though the places are well maintained, there is a huge disparity between 'the local' and 'foreign tourists'. The prices for 'foreign tourists' are exorbitant. Few months before, I had gone to Mahabalipuram and over there I saw the prices, for Indians it was 30rs per head and for foreigners it was 500rs per head. I had also observed some tourist not entering the place because of the ridiculous price as it is more than 15 times of the cost for an Indian to enter the place. So I wish this problem to be solved, while I agree that there has to be difference but the difference should be minimized in such a way that foreign tourists do not feel cheated or exploited. This will help in the following ways 1. It will encourage tourism and bring more tourists 2. Improve the Foreign Exchange & help developing economy Regards Surya
