On 15th August every year, the Prime Minister speaks from the ramparts of the Red Fort and lays out the government's programmes and policies. Over the last few years, the Hon’ble Prime Minister has directly invited ideas and suggestions from citizens for the Independence Day Speech. Similarly, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their inputs for New India. So, now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallize your vision. PM Narendra Modi may pick up some of the ideas in his speech on 15th August.

Respected Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi Garu, I am writing to you as a young citizen of Bharat to express my deep concern regarding the unregulated content on OTT platforms. Today, highly explicit scenes, severe profanity, and graphic violence—particularly against women and children—are streamed without effective censorship.Glorifying substance abuse, normalizing toxic language, and detailing heinous crimes under the guise of "creativity" is actively harming society. This unfiltered media distorts the mindsets of the youth, eroding our cultural values and contributing to a rise in aggressive behavior and public misconduct.I youthfully request the government to implement strict censorship guidelines for OTT platforms and other freely vailable online content to safeguard our culture and ensure a safer psychological environment for the next generation. Regards - Sriya Athreyasa Palyam

Viksit Bharat @ 2047 must be built on four priorities. First, India’s youth are our greatest strength. Skill India, PMKVY and apprenticeship programmes should now focus not only on training but on creating quality jobs and linking skills with emerging sector. Second, recent West Asian conflicts show why energy security is vital. India should accelerate EV adoption and use our abundant solar and renewable energy to reduce dependence on imported fossil fuels while creating new green jobs. Third, a developed India must be a safe India for women. Mission Shakti, Safe City projects and the Nirbhaya Fund should be strengthened through safer public transport, technology, better policing and faster justice. Finally, Viksit Bharat @ 2047 should become a measurable mission focused on income, jobs, health, education, innovation, infrastructure and women’s participation. Our youth, women, entrepreneurs and every citizen must become partners in transforming India into a developed economy. Jai hind

Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, On Independence Day 2026, I request you to address four key priorities for 'Viksit Bharat': 1. Youth Skills & AI Empowerment: Establish nation-wide Skill Centers linking AI, digital design, and vocational training with direct industry opportunities for youth. 2. Grassroots Sports & Fitness Culture: Strengthen the Fit India Movement by integrating digital health tracking, mandatory school sports hours, and community grounds in semi-urban/rural areas. 3. Clean & Solar India: Accelerate rooftop solar energy adoption and community-driven waste management systems in every tier-2 and tier-3 city. 4. Civic Engagement: Encourage youth participation in national building, policy feedback, and volunteerism via MyGov and MY Bharat platforms. Jai Hind! Submitted by: Girish Deshmukh

I recall Atal ji's words: "Aajadi abhi adhuri hai". True freedom means winning the war against illiteracy. This requires more than just schooling our 40 crore rural children; we must teach them our ancient scriptures in their native languages to rebuild a Digital Nalanda. Viksit Bharat is incomplete without these children and our women, who form 50% of our nation's strength. Today, I call for a new independence: freedom from foreign technology! We will build our indigenous software ecosystem, proudly using Sanskrit as a programming language. We must also end hardware reliance on China through import substitution. By recycling old smartphones—using their CPU, RAM, and storage as virtual workers in data centers, and making smart routers and laptops for our children—we will reduce e-waste and achieve true hardware independence. From job-seekers to job-givers, let us build an Atmanirbhar Bharat! Jai Hind! my zee news interview on youtube ( 6aq4ltiwoRA&t) talks in details about it.
