On 15th August every year, the Prime Minister speaks from the ramparts of the Red Fort and lays out the government's programmes and policies. Over the last few years, the Hon’ble Prime Minister has directly invited ideas and suggestions from citizens for the Independence Day Speech. Similarly, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their inputs for New India. So, now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallize your vision. PM Narendra Modi may pick up some of the ideas in his speech on 15th August.

Honorable Prime Minister, Having worked in average to top level premier institutions of the country, I strongly feel that premier institutions in the name of being liberal loose out on nationalistic ideologies. Therefore, I strongly feel that from this independence day all centrally funded or aided institutions should mandatorily play DESH BHAKTI GEET throughout their campuses, as channel music, in low volume, during the working hours e.g. 9am - 5pm. While all academic, teaching and research institutions should mandatorily play SARASWATI VANDANA throughout their campuses, in the first working hour, everyday. Central government institutes should not be named after anyone. A special centre can be thought if the person sufficiently donates to support the centre for 20yr. Just this small change can help in instilling nationalistic ideologies and help staff to be more polite, committed and less stressful. With kind Regards

      1. For reservation, the minimum marks for reserved category should be 10pc or max 15pc less than the last candidate from open category. If there are no student with these marks, those seats to allocate to open category 2. For corruption, rishwat, the penalty to be increased to mini 100pc of value involved plus 7years of rigorous jail. 3. All states, all departments all ministries, should be required to submit their monthly work done report in public domain alongwith funding n spending.

Thematic Concept for Independence Day Speech – Civic Conscience for Viksit Bharat 2047 Honourable PM Sir, As we march towards Viksit Bharat 2047, this submission offers a structural speech framework focused on moving our society from being merely "rights-conscious" to deeply "responsibility-conscious". While celebrating our historic milestones—from "ship to chip" electronic growth to Skyroot Aerospace’s private orbital launches—it delivers a heartfelt call to action against daily civic indiscipline and the ecological littering that threatens fragile habitats like the Himalayan marmot. It redefines true patriotism as how we act, maintain cleanliness, and safeguard our nation's progress when nobody is watching.

Respected Prime Minister, As a mother of a Gen Alpha child, and after observing the recent protests by Gen Z, including the use of abusive language, I would like to share a humble suggestion. This year, I sincerely feel that there is a need to address Gen Z and Gen Alpha specifically. A speech that connects with them factually, logically, and emotionally could help build a stronger connection between the younger generation and the government. I would like to suggest creating an official digital platform or social media channel where young Indians can freely express their views, concerns, disagreements, and even their opposition to government policies.

Respected Sir, We need solid waste management policy and procedures relooked, revised in urban India. We need think tanks, private players participation, Citizens engagement to solve this great problem of garbage in our cities. Please constitute a committee to make a fresh roadmap and give it a good branding. Let all walks of people advertise and policy and milestones should be published. Else our cities are dying. Please sir

To build a truly progressive New India, we must prioritize civic sense and cleanliness. I propose two key steps for your Independence Day address: Strict Public Accountability: Implement standardized minor fines/challans for littering and public spitting. This delivers a triple benefit: cleaner public spaces, revenue generation for municipal sanitation, and new local job opportunities. Empower local bodies to partner with NGOs for community vigilance and awareness and appoint voluntary community leaders in every society to gently remind residents about cleanliness and civic sens School-Level Civic Education & Certification: Introduce detailed civic education in school curricula. Award formal "Civic Achievement Certificates" to students who voluntarily maintain cleanliness and demonstrate good civic sense, shaping a responsible future generation. Combining firm accountability with grassroots education will transform our nation's landscape and instill lasting national pride.
